Keratin Treatment as become very popular over the years. This treatment is used to correct frizziness, dryness, and to calm super curly hair. The treatment allows the hair to be frizz free and straighter and allows for it to be blowed dried more easier and quicker. This treatment can be used on natural as well as chemically treated hair including relaxed hair.
Keratin Treatment at Shallamars Hair Solutions is used in two different ways. The salon uses The Coppola Keratin Complex which is free of formaldehyde and harsh ingredients. It is safe on the hair and as no odor. Shallamar's Hair Solutions offers a one hour blow out keratin treatment that lasts six weeks and a more intensive treatment that lasts 4 to 6 months. Once the treatment is complete only sulfate free shampoos and conditioners can be used on the hair
Keratin Treatment by Coppola does not harm the hair and in fact adds keratin or protein to the hair to give it more strength and resilience. The one hour treatment is great for those clients that color or relax every six weeks and want to gain more control of their hair. The one hour treatment can be done right after a color is performed. Hair can typically be shampooed eight hours after the treatment. For the more intensive treatment this is performed on dried hair and must remain in the hair for 72 hours. During this time the hair cannot be wet, or bend or placed in a ponytail or hat. Once the 72 hours is pass the hair is then shampooed and you can then return to your favorite styles. This treatment last for four to six months.
